We generate a unique device ID that is stored locally on your device. This ID is used solely to manage your favorite bus stops and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

Location Data

When you grant location permission, we use your device's location to show nearby bus stops. Your location data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

Bus Data

We retrieve real-time bus information from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) DataMall API. This includes bus arrival times, routes, and stop locations. This data is public information provided by LTA for use by approved applications.

How We Use Your Information

• To display nearby bus stops based on your location
• To show real-time bus arrival information
• To save and manage your favorite bus stops locally on your device
• To send notifications for bus arrival reminders (if enabled)
• To display route information and live bus tracking

Data Storage

All your personal preferences (favorites, reminders, settings) are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit this data to our servers.

No User Accounts

BuzzStop does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as name, email address, or phone number.

Third-Party Services

BuzzStop uses the following third-party service:

• LTA DataMall API: We use this service to retrieve official bus data provided by Singapore's Land Transport Authority. Please refer to LTA's privacy policy for information about how they handle data.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. BuzzStop is completely ad-free and does not track your usage or behavior.

Children's Privacy

BuzzStop does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Our app is designed to be used by anyone who uses public transportation in Singapore.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.
